Tirlán provides GAIN dairy feed support for milk suppliers

22nd July, 2024: Tirlán is offering its family farm milk suppliers a €30 per tonne GAIN dairy feed support to help build and protect fodder stocks for the coming winter.

A difficult growing season to date has resulted in reduced growth rates and poor silage yields. A recent Tirlán fodder survey has identified a potential deficit in winter fodder reserves.

The Tirlán feed support will apply for the period from July 22nd to August 8th 2024 on all GAIN dairy feed delivered during this time.

A number of terms apply to the support:

• The offer applies to tonnes of GAIN dairy feed delivered from July 22nd to August 8th 2024;
• A supplier will receive the €30 a tonne rebate on all GAIN dairy feed purchased;
• A reasonable usage limit on the promotion tonnes will apply for each customer;
• Further terms and conditions will apply.

Ailish Byrne, Tirlán’s Chief Agri Officer, said:

“Our Ruminant Business Managers are currently assisting our suppliers through fodder budgeting and putting plans in place to maximise grass growth and utilisation. This support is designed to help our suppliers to build reserves and to protect fodder stocks for the coming winter.”
